Another Major Garden Centre to Install WinRetail

It is our a great pleasure to announce that another major multi-site garden centre has decided to install WinRetail, our EPoS and Retail Management system.

Squire’s Garden Centres chose WinRetail following an intensive series of workshops involving their key decision makers. They determined that Corby & Fellas had the knowledge, experience and the software that they were looking for.

We welcome Squires Garden Centres as a customer and look forward to deploying our software over the coming months.

Squires is a family-owned garden centre group with 15 centres across West London, Surrey, Berkshire and Sussex.

When the company was founded in 1935 its main activity was landscaping small domestic gardens. However, during the Second World War, all landscape activities ceased and the nurseries were turned over to vegetable production.

Following the war the employment of professional gardeners started to wane as people became more and more interested in gardening for themselves. So, in response to this  switch to DIY gardening, Squires opened their first garden centre in Sixth Cross Road, Twickenham in 1964. Over the years horticultural retailing becoming the main focus of the business, with garden centres opening in Shepperton, Badshot Lea, Hersham, Chertsey, Woking, Windsor, West Horsley, Crawley, Reigate, Long Ditton, Washington, Stanmore, Milford and Cobham.
