We are pleased to report that Camden Garden Centre has chosen WinRetail to handle their future Epos and retail management requirements.
Camden Garden Centre, established in 1983, occupies a very urban location, nestling between a main railway line and the Grand Union canal, its buildings occupy a former railway siding.
Camden is definitely not your ‘normal’ garden centre. Not only does it supply a broad range of plants and gardening products of excellent quality , give expert advice and guidance to its many customers, but it is also a charitable trust offering employment, vocational training and educational opportunities to disadvantaged people.
The Trust has, so far, helped over 300 Trainees from different backgrounds and difficulties; mild learning disability; recovering from substance or alcohol abuse or mental breakdown; homeless caught in the no job/ no home trap; perhaps in a spiral of criminal reoffending and often a mixture of these factors.
Camden is founder member of the Choice Marketing Group, which now consists of 37 garden centres, six of whom, we’re pleased to say, use WinRetail.
We have just started the process of data conversion with the aim of installing the new system during the Spring of 2015.
We are, of course, delighted to be associated with this very special garden centre, which does such good work and happy that they have chosen C+F. We look forward to a long, happy and fruitful relationship.
