Well done Adam on completing a Triathlon for Combat Stress Charity
Well done to our Web Applications Developer, Adam Boardman who completed a Triathlon last month and raised money for Combat Stress Charity!
Adam took part in the East Coast Triathlon on Sunday 23rd April, with his girlfriend’s parents Angie and Scott. While they were doing the Triathlon to challenge themselves, they were also raising money for Combat Stress.
Scott saw active service in the first Gulf War. Combat Stress have supported Scott for the last 11 years, both with respite and a six week residential course designed to help him to live with the trauma at the heart of his PTSD.
Combat Stress is the UKâs leading veteransâ mental health charity. They treat a range of mental health conditions including PTSD, depression and anxiety. Mental health issues can affect ex-servicemen and women of all ages. Right now, they have more than 6,000 veterans registered with them for support. Theyâre a vital lifeline for these veterans and their families.
